Ukrainian government to apply interventions in July-December

The government of Ukraine is speculating about the ways of keeping grain prices under control during harvest campaign when grain supply is the highest over the year (July-December), informed Anatoliy Kinakh, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine on June 14, 2005.

According to his words, global grain prices are expected to decline. So Ukrainian government will have to apply interventions and loan purchasing in order to keep domestic market situation stable. The government is going to withdraw 1.5 million tonnes of grain from Ukrainian market monthly from July to December.
