240 thousand tons of cucurbits crops are planned to be harvested in Kherson oblast

This year the producers in Kherson oblast plan to harvest 240,000 tons of cucurbits crops, according to the information provided by the Chief Department of Food and Agriculture, Kherson State Administration.

As of the 20th of July 2005, the total acreage of cucurbits crops is 24.7 thousand hectares in the oblast; 6,000 ha of which are planted by the agricultural enterprises of Skadovsk, Gola Prystan and Tsuryupinsk rayons.
