Emergency Ministry of Russia alerts about bird flue extension danger

Emergency Ministry of Russia alerts about the danger of bird flue extension to the European part of Russia in August this year.

Taking into account the fact of revealing virus A (H5N1) on the territory of Russia and emerging of epizootic focus in Siberian Federal District, the danger of epidemic for the European part of Russia arises. The danger may be added by the beginning of autumn migration period for migrant birds, which move from north of Siberia to Caspian and Black Sea regions.

For today there has been no cases of human getting infected with the virus of bird flue.
