Russia: epidemic of bird flu expands
The Main Government Sanitary Doctor of Russia Gennediy Onishchenko epidemic of the bird flu needs additional measure to be prevented. He also indicated necessity of the sanitary control reinforcement in poultry industry, which also provides measures for prevention of human infection.

Onishchenko insists on in-time registration of all persons who contact with infected birds as well as their relatives in order to provide medical watching.
The Emergency Ministry of Russia reports that there are no registered cases of people infected with bird flu, but they indicate the bird flu AH5H1 is dangerous for human beings. According to the Ministry's report for today makes about 11,300 poultry heads dead of the bird flu in Russia. Now the Ministry has received confirmation of the epidemic in Kursk Oblast.
