In January-July Ukrainian seaports shipped 2.5 mln t of grain to export destinations

In January-July Ukrainian seaports shipped 2.5 million tonnes of grain to export destinations, which is 2.1 times above the figure, registered in January-July 2004, press-service of State Association "Ukrmorport" (Ukrainian sea port) has informed.

Grain transits also increased significantly over the period - to 587,300 tonnes from 230,500 tonnes, transited in January-July 2004.

Import grain was not arriving to Ukrainian ports over the analysed period (in January-July 2004 the ports received 7,300 tonnes of such grains), the association informed.
