Prices on apple for processing have exceeded USD 0.09/kg and continue growing in Ukraine
This week the enterprises - apple processors into apple juice and concentrate reported about shortened supply of raw materials and in some cases - about increased purchase prices on this commodity. As to our evaluations, in Ukraine the average purchase price has already exceeded USD 0.09/kg; it continues growing. Only some processors are able to buy apples on USD 0.07-0.08/kg.
Market players feel like apple price for processing tends to continue growing; moreover, there is a margin for purchase price increase for Ukrainian processors. We'll remind that in Poland, one of the main Ukrainian competitors on the EU apple concentrate market, the purchase price on this commodity reaches USD 0.09/kg in some cases.
