Vegetable, fruit and berry deep freezing capacity increased extremely in Ukraine
According to the information of the Agricultural Marketing Project, several huge companies entered Ukrainian market of produce deep freezing in 2005. The demand on quality fruits and vegetables grew considerably as a result, and many foreign producers of frozen produce have been pressed on Ukrainian market.
Earlier these companies used to supply frozen products in bulk for export or for further processing inside the country; in 2005 at once several companies introduced own trademarks for frozen vegetables, fruits and berries. Besides, the companies invested actively into the modern production technologies in order to produce top-quality commodities.
The quality of Ukrainian deep frozen fruits and vegetables turned out to be very high due to the applied advanced technologies; the buyers from abroad got interested in Ukrainian products. As soon as this season the supplies of frozen vegetables, fruits and berries to Russia are expected to increase extremely. We'll also point out the constantly growing number of the companies interested in deep freezing installations' construction in Ukraine.
