Vegetable prices continue growing - the Ministry of Economics of Ukraine
In the first decade of November the seasonal price increase on vegetable commodities was observed in Ukraine, as it was reported by the PR and Mass Media Department of the Ministry of Economics of Ukraine.
According to the data of the price monitoring conducted by the state price control bodies, in the period from 11/01/2005 to 11/10/2005 the average price level on potato increased the highest - on 14.7% (up to USD 0.33/kg). The prices on carrot grew too - on 2.9% (up to USD 0.35/kg), bulb onion - on 36.9% (up to USD 0.36/kg), red beets - on 1.4 % (up to USD 0.29/kg), and cabbage -on 3.9% (up to USD 0.31/kg).
