Quality red beets are rare on market
Market players experience problems to purchase red beets for storage. This season vegetable storage managers paid more attention to potato and carrot purchases, someone did not hurry to buy planned volumes of red beets. Earlier the main part of wholesale buyers rejected any problems with red beets thinking that farms possess enough produce to cover needs. It came out that insufficient wholesale sets of quality red beets are supplied on market. This fact is confirmed by vendors who increased price on USD 0.01-0.03/kg. To this moment the majority of wholesale sets are sold on USD 0.2-0.25/kg. The lowest prices are observed in Volyn, Vinnitsa and Cherkasy oblasts, some farms offer red beets in bulk on USD 0.19/kg on terms of self delivery.
