Jam and fruit jelly production increased in Ukraine as compared to 2004

According to the latest data of the official statistics, this October 13,330 tons of jam, fruit jelly, puree and fruit or nut butter were produced that is 10% less than in September (14,800 tons of commodities).

Comparing to the previous year, production of jam, fruit jelly, puree and fruit or nut butter increased 32% or on 3,260 tons (10,070 tons in 2004).

During nine months (January-October 2005) the production of the mentioned commodities amounted to 66,540 tons, past year the production was 51,500 tons in the same period of time.
