Ukraine: "Budgetary subsidies to farmers do not reach intended recipients" - Yekhanurov
Government of Ukraine will continue to seek a compromise with the budgetary panel of Verkhovna Rada in the three main directions: agro-industrial complex, local authorities and mining industry, the PM Yuri Yekhanurov said in response to the questions of deputies in Ukrainian parliament on Thursday.
He said that today's reality was unfortunately such that the budgetary money, which is supposed to go into the farm subsidies, "does not reach the farmers".
He said that the government was ready to agree "to a certain de-centralisation of funds, so that local authorities could decide on themselves where to spend them".
