35,700 heads of poultry culled in Crimea
Press-service of Ukraine's Ministry for Emergency Situations informed that during December 3-8 in the bird flu affected zone of Crimea 35,703 heads of poultry had been culled from 2,228 local households.
No infection among people has been reported.
Up to the moment the owners of confiscated poultry in the affected area are said to have been refunded a total of 703,668 hryvnyas of damage (official rate is 5.05 hryvnias per $1).
