Greenhouse vegetables grew 10% expensive past week

According to the information of "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly, past week the prices on major produce remained quite stable; the main demand is expected to be observed in the end of this week. At the same time, the greatest dynamics of price growth was observed for greenhouse vegetables: sweet pepper, tomatoes and cucumber.

According to the information provided by weekly journal, there are Ukrainian, Turkish, Spain and even Hungarian (mainly in Zakarpattya) greenhouse produce on the national market now. The prices increased much during this week. Greenhouse pepper is growing expensive by the highest rates, the retail price on this commodity increased more than 15% during a week. Greenhouse tomatoes cost now 10%, cucumbers - 5-8% more than a week ago. It's worth mentioning that the price growth on tropic fruits and bananas is observed now - in average 2-4% during the past week. At the same time, the wholesale prices on oranges, tangerines, and lemons remained stable and even decreased in some cases.
