According to information provided by Polish produce companies, a parsley deficit is observed in the country's market. Wholesale prices on this product have sometimes reached $0.88/kg. It is interesting to mention that wholesalers found the way to make parsley less expensive as they mix it with parsnip, which is nearly three times cheaper.
Carrots have increased in price as well, meaning there is high demand both on the freshmarket and for juice production. Wholesale prices on quality carrots have reached $0.11-0.15/kg.
