Fruit Logistica Exhibition Will Attract the Largest Number of Exhibitors and Visitors This Year
Fruit Logistica is the largest international exhibition in the produce industry and this year it will be held on February 2-4 in Berlin, Germany. Attendance is expected to reach a 14-year high.
The exhibition area has been extended from 48,000 m2 to 60,000 m2, and approximately 1,450 exhibitors from six continents are expected to attend. More than 30,000 visitors from 100 different countries will come to view the exhibition.
Three countries, which include India, Luxemburg and Serbia, will be first time exhibiters. Argentina, Ecuador, Greece, Italy, Spain and Turkey will present enlarged exhibits this year. Only one Ukrainian promoter is registered for participation, but many involved in the produce business of Ukraine plan to visit the event.
The whole spectrum of fresh fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, spices, organic produce, and flowers will be on display during the exhibition. Knowledge into effective logistics and fruit and vegetable retail trade will be the key focus this year. Machinery and equipment for packing production, storage, transportation, and produce sales will be presented. Transport companies, computer programs for logistics improvement, marketing solutions, and educational proposals, will represent the service market.
