Ukraine-Russia export ban: state of affairs

Agrarian policy minister of Ukraine Alexander Baranovsky said he had done everything possible for enable import of Ukrainian stock-breeding products.

According to Agrarian Ministry press-cutting service report, Baranovsky disproved information about Russian side had given to Ukrainian delegation all necessary documents and explanations.

As was said before, January 20, 2006 Russia imposed a ban on cattle-breeding products import from Ukraine through Ukrainian veterinarian legislations' numerous breaches. Boundary conditions also cover butcher products, by-product, eggs, fish, milk, cheese, butter, potted goods import. Negotiations on this ban abolition question still didn't give any results.

Agrarian policy ministry data showed that Russian side didn't assume Ukrainian delegation at the head of veterinary medicine department chairman Ivan Bisiuk for Negotiations on this question.
