Despite of Frosts Early Cabbage Will Arrive On the Market at the Usual Time, Odessa Farmers Say
According information provided, many farmers from the southern part of Odesa oblast managed to protect their transplants of early cabbage from the frosts. A majority of medium sized greenhouse enterprises have not suffered losses due to well heated transplant facilities. Some farmers have already planted, or are now in the process of planting, transplants in heated greenhouses. They are optimistic that early cabbage will be supplied on market at nearly the same time as it was in the previous year (late March - early April).
