Vegetable prices continue growing first 10 days of February - the Ministry of Economics of Ukraine

In the first decade of February the price increase on vegetable commodities continued in Ukraine, as it was reported by the PR and Mass Media Department of the Ministry of Economics of Ukraine.

According to the data of the price monitoring conducted by the state price control bodies, in the period from 01/30/2006 to 02/10/2006 the average price level on carrot increased the highest - on 15.6% (up to USD 0.52/kg). The prices on bulb onion grew too - on 8.5% (up to USD 0.5/kg), cabbage - on 8.7 % (up to USD 0.51/kg), red beets - on 10.6 % (up to USD 0.42/kg), and potato -on 8.6% (up to USD 0.47/kg).
