UNIAN reported that State Land Titles as of May 1st 2002 distributed among 2.7mn landowners their land titles.

This figure is a mere 40.9% of all titles. The largest number of landowners as of today lives in Kirovohrad Oblast - 83.1% of titles distributed, Rivne - 74.6% and L'viv - 67%. The lowest number of titles was distributed in Zhytomyr Oblast or 21.5% only.

The State Land Resources Committee announced that another 1.4mn land titles are coming soon.
