Cucumber supply increases rapidly in Kherson oblast

Cucumber supply has significantly increased recently on KOPANI market in Kherson oblast. Roman Rybalko, the Wholesale Price Monitoring Specialist of the Agricultural Marketing Project provided this information to "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits journal.

The specialist says about several times more cucumbers available for sale now comparing to past Friday. Still, the price remains on the same level of $2.3-2.5/kg.

However, the volumes of harvested cucumber have recently increased much due to sunny warm weather, in particular. Cucumber supply will grow even more significantly; so the prices are expected to decline.
