"EKO-market" extends the chain in Poltava oblast

An official opening presentation was conducted on the 19th of April in honor of the new supermarket of "EKO-market" retail chain in Poltava. Vyacheslav Vinogradov, the Marketing Specialist of Poltava office, Agricultural Marketing Project provided this information to "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal.

The supermarket is located near the most vibrant streets in the city center just near the Central produce market, and in front of the store of the local produce POLAGROSERVICE chain. Poltava Central market is a traditional place for food and clothes purchases for the inhabitants of Poltava rayon. But it works only till 2:00 p.m. the whole week except Monday.

POLAGROSERVICE and "EKO-market" stores let the buyers purchase food every day 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Poltava oblast canneries ("Globus" cannery, "Novosanzhary" cannery) provided a rather broad assortment of the canned commodities to the supermarket shelves. The fresh produce section also has a large assortment; both washed and unwashed packed produce is mainly offered. There are eight apple varieties presented for sale. The total produce section area is about 20 square meters. "EKO-market" supermarket is the second one in Poltava oblast. The first supermarket was opened less than a year ago in Kremenchuk; it is one of the largest city supermarkets now.
