Tomato price is decreasing

Tomato price has decreased 20% on Kyiv FARMER market since the week beginning, according to wholesale price monitoring conducted by "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" journal. Today wholesale price for tomato averages $ 1.76/kg; it was $2.15/kg on Monday. Tomatoes are mainly supplied from local greenhouse complexes.

We'd like to point out that at this period of time past year tomato prices were 5-10% lower, and they had been keeping on this level till early June. Tomato price declined two times June 1st till June 15th past year.
