Onion is four times as cheap, cabbage is four times as expensive in Poland

Early cabbage is sold for an average price $0.84/kg on BRONISZE market, the main produce wholesale market in Poland. This price is nearly four times as high comparing to cabbage price on FARMER wholesale market in Kyiv. Past year onion is sold for $0.23-0.25/kg in Poland; the price for small onion shipments reaches $1.07/kg in Ukraine. However, newly harvested onion costs nearly the same in Ukraine and in Poland, around $0.84-0.88/kg.

Polish carrot is sold for $1.17-1.56/kg in Ukraine; "on site" this carrot costs not more than $0.47/kg. An average price for carrot is $0.39/kg in Poland. Tomatoes are 20-30% less expensive in Poland than in our country, but cucumbers cost the same $0.49-0.58/kg.

The prices for garlic, parsley, early potato and radish are approximately the same in Poland and Ukraine. Strawberry price is equal too. But, early squash is 3-3.5 times more expensive in Poland, this product costs up to $2.35/kg there.
