Early carrot price has decreased nearly twice in weekend

Price decrease of 35-45% was recorded for early carrot on KOPANI market this weekend. Today small shipments of early carrot cost $0.62-0.78/kg. Early carrot is packed into standard 30 kg polyethylene bags.

Early carrot of Ukrainian origin decreased in price on SHUVAR market in Lviv and FARMER market in Kyiv too, but not very significantly, only 15-25%.

We'll remind that at the same period of time past year early carrot cost $0.88-1.07/kg on KOPANI market; the price decreased down to the level of $0.58-0.68/kg only early July 2005.
