Ukrainian Farmers Received US $290mn of Preferential Credits

APK-Inform reports that as of June 7, 2002, farming and food processing sector of Ukraine has received US$290mn of preferential credits, which is 12% more than the amount, disbursed by June 1, 2001. In the meanwhile, Ukrainian budget received about US$287.5mn of tax payments from companies of agriculture and food industries as of May 1, 2002,, which is 106% of the amount due and is 10% more than by the same date of past year.
