Poland is expanding the frozen produce export to Russian market

According to information of eBronisze.pl with the reference to Foodnews Polska, in the first half of 2006 Poland exported around 5,700 tons of frozen strawberry to Russia. So, the export of frozen strawberry from Poland to Russia increased 50% comparing to the same period of tine in 2005.

Due to such a rapid growth of Polish import, Russia has become the third largest purchaser of frozen strawberry in Poland; it follows Germany and Holland.

We'll point out that the largest producers and importers of fresh and frozen produce to Russia will participate in the first international conference "Produce Business Russia 2006". Large foreign companies are interested to supply vegetables, fruits and berries to the market of Russian Federation too; so they will participate in the event as well.
