Russian producers of fresh-cut vegetable salads do not have to compete

During the first international conference "Produce Business in Russia 2006" in Moscow Mrs. Natalia Marchenko, the Development Department Manager of VLAD company (TM "Vladsalad") reported that the company has been increasing the rates of salad production by fast rates. VLAD company is a leading producer of salads and vegetable mixes in Russia. The basis for intensive growth of the company is the demand for salads which significantly exceeds the supply. As a result, the sales risks have been practically eliminated. The growing demand is observed as for traditional salads with mayonnaise, as well for "Korean" salads. There are around 100 types of salads in the product line. In addition to the mentioned salads, there are also salads made from sauerkraut, seaweed, also sandwiches, delicatessen salads, and sushi.
