The tomatoes of Summer Sun variety are of warm-yellow color, they are characterized by the increased sugar content so that the product taste is very sweet.

Mr. Eran Shafrir, the Marketing Director of Hazera Genetics company, says that the demand for small tomatoes of cherry type is constantly growing in Europe. European producers are ready to pay much for a unique flavor of these tomatoes; also they recognize a high content of beta-carotene - the antioxidant which helps to control many diseases. As a result, the price for such tomatoes reaches EUR20/kg in the retail chains of the European Union.
