Export growth of early vegetables to Russia supports inner prices

The market players inform ""Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" that the export shipments of early vegetables have significantly increased this season: the produce is supplied to Russian and Belarussian markets. Due to this fact the prices for early vegetables are preserved on a rather high level even despite of the significantly increased production.

To the opinion of the market players, high temperature also supports the prices - it deteriorates the vegetable yield, makes the produce transportation more complicated. Also, hot weather leads to a significantly reduced shelf life for vegetables and berries; the produce rapidly perishes.
