The representative of the Mushroom Producers Association in Germany will speak on mushroom production and sales in the EU

Mr. Johen Winkhoff, the Manager of the Professional Association of Vegetables Growers in Germany, the Member of the Working Committee on vegetables, the representative of the Mushroom Producers Association in Germany, the Member of the editorial board of "Champignon" journal, will present his report "Mushroom production in Germany and the EU" during the second international conference "Mushroom Industry 2007". In his presentation Mr. Winkhoff will share the experience of mushroom production in Germany, the political and economic requirements to mushroom production (ecological norms, plant protection assets, energy, etc.). Also, the presentation will cover the questions of quality assurance, the champignon market in Germany, the European Union norms of the mushroom sales.

Ukrainian producers will have an opportunity to listen to one of the most urgent topics, which is the overview of the informational infrastructure of German mushroom market: the journals, conferences, and seminars. The expert will also tell about the programs focused on the mushroom consumption stimulation in Germany.
