Season of active bell pepper harvesting starts in Ukraine
The price for bell pepper of the national origin has declined down to $1.2/kg on wholesale markets of the South of Ukraine, "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" informs. The producers have started supplying considerable shipments, so that the price is declining quite fast. The market players forecast, this week the price for bell pepper should decline 20-30%. The suppliers point out that pepper, as well as other early produce, entered the markets much earlier than usually this year. Naturally, this fact has had an effect on the prices; as of June 18th, the prices are in average twice as lower than a year ago.
