Fruit and vegetable harvest to be low in Trans-Dniester region

This summer weather conditions were of surprise to fruit and vegetable producers in Trans-Dniester. Because of lack of the operational assets many farms grow produce without irrigation. The harvest will be minimal in such agricultural enterprises.

The analysts of CIS produce business periodical, ""Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly" inform about large shipments of vegetables and fruits coming from Trans-Dniester region to Ukraine; this produce is not only grown in Trans-Dniester, but also supplied from Bulgaria and Turkey. This produce is supplied without the required sanitary control and custom tariff payments.
