Ukraine to import equipment for bakery plants - Prime Minister
Prime Minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Kinakh has supported proposal of bread bakers to import machinery and equipment for bakery plants, which is not produced in Ukraine. Such machinery is needed for development of the industry as a whole and for improvement of quality of bread and bakery products.
Prime Minister has also emphasised importance of price regulation policy in the bakery industry. "Taking into consideration still low paying power of Ukrainian citizens, it is necessary to regulate price policy in the market of grain and bakery products, to establish a balance in the cost-price of bakery products and in trading mark-ups," he said.
He also supported a proposal of bakers about establishing in Ukraine a bread research institute.
