Onion increases in price in Ukraine

The specialists of CIS produce business periodical, "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly inform, the price growth has been traced on Ukrainian onion market. The market is full with supplies from the first glance; despite of this fact, there is an obvious shortage of quality onion on market.

The farmers say, the demand for onion has increased since the beginning of week; this fact stimulated the increase of the sales prices. The purchases of Ukrainian onion are of extreme interest both for the national wholesale companies and Russian buyers, who are actively signing contracts on product supplies with the farms of Southern Ukraine now.
