New vegetable drying plant to be constructed in Slavgorod
There is a plan to construct a new plant for vegetable drying, the Committee of Agriculture and Food of Mohylev Regional Executive Administration informed Interfax.
The municipal production enterprise "Slavgodoskiy Pishevik" started implementing the investment project "Creation of dry vegetable production", the interviewees of the agency informed. They added that "the objective of the project is the establishment of a new enterprise for the production of dry products with the application of modern, energy-saving, infra-red drying technology".
The implementation of this project let process all types of vegetables, fruits, fresh herbs, cultivar and wild berries, and it let the owners start the production of the fast-food components.
The planned volumes of dry produce production will amount to 98.5 - 106.5 tons per month and 1018 to 1148 tons per year, the specialists observed.
They informed that the managing staff has been already formed. Russian corporation "Russian Food" won the tender which was conducted for the supplies of modern energy-saving equipment.
There is a plan that the construction of the new enterprise will start soon and will be finished by the end of next year. After the new facility is launched, the presently operating vegetable drying plant will be closed down, and the personnel will be transferred to the new enterprise, the interviewees of the agency informed.
They specified that around $6.5 mln. of investments to the fixed capital are planned to be allocated for the implementation of this project.
