Ukraine: the Government supports the candidate of Yu. Timoshenko for the position of Prime-Minister of Ukraine
On December 18, 2007, the Government of Ukraine (Verkhovna Rada) chose Yulia Timoshenko to be the Prime-Minister of Ukraine. The candidate was supported by 226 out of 227 members of the parliament registered in the session hall.
Let us remind you that from February to September 2005 Yulia Timoshenko held already a post of Prime-Minister of Ukraine.
On the same day, December 18, 2007, they also accepted and confirmed the composition of the Government. Yuriy Melnik stays on as the Minister of Agrarian Policy.
