American specialists learned how to remove allergic agents out of peanut

Agricultural and technical university of North Carolina informed about the revolutionary invention. The university specialists developed a simple and inexpensive process of peanut handling which let the growers produce non-allergic nuts, "Health of Ukraine" informs.

This technology does not deteriorate the quality and taste characteristics of the nuts - the allergy-prone persons can safely eat these peanuts. For the first time in the history the scientists managed to remove allergic agents out of food product.

The process efficiency is estimated to 100%. The scientists hope that this invention is able to help with the development of new technologies soon which let the scientists remove allergic agents out of other food products too.

We'd like to remind that the most important inventions and novelties of nuts industry in Ukraine, and also in CIS and non-CIS countries will be presented on the 31st of January 2008 in Kyiv during the first international forum "Perspective trends of fruit & vegetable business 2008: Commercial nuts orchards".
