PepsіCo buys Bulgarian nut processor

PepsiCo Inc., the giant of beverage and juice industry, made the decision to purchase Bulgarian company Penelopa which produces snacks (nuts and seeds); Pepsi intends to build up the company's presence on Bulgarian market. Dow Jones Newswires informs there has been no information released yet about how much PepsiCo paid for Bulgarian producer.

The source informs, Penelopa company manages the plant in Sliven town where 200 persons are employed. The enterprise was founded more than 10 years ago.
