Vegetable processing facility was opened in Chernigovskiy district
Vegetable processing facility was opened in village Sibirtsevo, Chernigovskiy district. As of today, this is a unique enterprise in Chernigovskiy district which produces canned vegetables.
The installed line of the facility let the workers process various vegetables, peel them and pack to glass jars. The similar lines have been installed just in several regions of the country. New facility in Sibirtsevo is a good example of the successful agricultural development, the farmers believe. The launched line let them increase the cost efficiency; the increased production volumes will press the prices for food products down. Also, the facility means more than a hundred jobs in the rural area.
"This was a pilot shipment. We launched the facility past year. In September we canned pilot shipments of cucumbers, mixed vegetables, tomato juice and lecho. Of course, the volumes are small. But finally we have tested all recipes; we are ready to work with full power this year", Sergey Volochkov told, the Chairman of Chernigovskiy district community.
