"Mironovskiy Khleboprodukt" invests $230 mln. to new orchards
According to Expert-online information, "Mironovskiy Khleboprodukt" company, one of the largest agri-holding in Ukraine, plans to plant 15,000 ha of orchards by 2016. To do that, the company intends to invest $ 230 mln. to "Crimean Fruit Company", the structural part of the holding.
According to "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly, at the present moment "Crimean Fruit Company" is the largest producer of strawberry in Ukraine; it also grows large volumes of apple, pear, apricot and grape. There is a plan that the enterprise will reach the harvest level of 350,000 tons per year by 2016; so the company will become one of the largest fruit producers in the world.
