South Korean company will open potato processing plant in Chuyskaya region of Kirghizia
South Korean company is intended to open potato processing plant in Chuyskaya region of Kirghizia, the Press Service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kirghizia informed the correspondent of IA REGNUM.
The plant will produce seven types of products: starch, potato juice, proteins, gluten, ethyl alcohol, bio-ethanol and carbon dioxide. Also, there is a plan to produce forage and mineral fertilizers on the basis of waste. Korean businessmen are intended to invest $ 40 mln. to the plant construction. According to the tentative data, local authorities have already allocated the land plot for potato production in Chymkorgonskaya rural community. It is also worth mentioning that 100% of the plant products will be exported.
If the experience of cooperation is successful, the company will construct similar plants in Issyk-Kulskaya and Narynskaya regions of Kirghizia, the Ministry specialists point out.
