Cancellation of sunseed export duty is favoured by parliamentarians, lobbying interests of separate companies - Ukraine's Minister of Agriculture
Agrarian Policy Minister Serhiy Ryzhuk said, speaking to the First International Conference "Ukrainian Oilseed Industry", that cancellation of the 17-percent sunseed export duty is favoured by Deputies, lobbying interests of separate companies.
He said the current duty was beneficial to all market participants and there was no sense to change the rules of the game.
He also said he was sure that sunflower seeds would be exported from Ukraine even if the duty stayed.
