Turnover of "Vitmark-Ukraine" company increased 21% in 2007 up to UAH 724 mln.
The press service of "Vitmark-Ukraine" company informed "Fruit-Inform" weekly that the company increased the turnover 21% up to UAH 724 mln. ($144.8 mln.) in 2007. This parameter amounted to UAH 600 mln. ($120 mln.) past year.
In 2007 the capital investments to the production increased 67% up to UAH 76 mln. The company invested UAH 30 mln. to the brand development. In total, the company sold 195 mln. liters of juices and beverages and produced 262 mln. items of products in 2007.
We have already informed that the company built up production capacity by means of modernization of the already available lines and construction of a new complex on the production floor in the village Stepanovka, Odesskaya region. Nine million dollars were invested to this construction.
In 2007 "Vitmark-Ukraine" introduced new products on market: the line of innovation vegetable juices on the basis of tomato under "Jaffa Select Tomato+" trademark; the line of classic and exotic mono-flavor juices and premium nectars under ТМ "Jaffa Natura", PET-packed juices and nectars under ТМ "Jaffa FreshUp", and also, for the first time in Ukraine, the company produced juice for kids in convenient and light cardboard pack Base under ТМ "Chudo Chado".
In September the international bank "OTP Bank" provided "Vitmark" company with the credit facility for $ 50 mln., twenty five millions of which were investment assets. As to the conclusions of 2007, the credit rating of "Vitmark Ukraine" has been increased from the position "2.5+" to "3" (steady business), according to COFACE data.
In 2008 the company plans to extend the market share by means of the considerably consolidated distribution and the introduction of new innovative products which have already become a tradition for the company.

"Vitmark-Ukraine" holding is one of Ukrainian largest producers of juices, nectars, juice-containing drinks, baby food, semi-ready purees and concentrates (ТМ "Jaffa", "Jaffa Select", "Jaffa Natura", "Jaffa FreshUp", "Jaffa Selected Fruit", "Odessa baby food cannery", "Sokovita", "Chudo Chado"). The enterprise was founded in 1994. According to the own data of the company, the holding occupies up to 23% of the share of juices, nectars and drinks market.
