The Government of Ukraine extended zero VAT rate for agricultural producers in 2008

The Government of Ukraine has extended till 2008 the effective period of the order "About the VAT payments and accruals for agricultural producers". This decision was approved on the governmental meeting on the 27th of February, Yuri Melnik, the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine informed, according to "RBC-Ukraine".

He specified that the adopted document extends the specific order of VAT payments for the enterprises of agricultural industry. According to this order the VAT payments of agricultural producers are transferred to the special accounts of state treasuries, and are used for the donation payments in the agricultural industry.

So, the Government has extended the zero VAT rate for agricultural producers in 2008, the Minister emphasized.
