Dragon Capital and East Capital bought 70% of shares of Ukrainian ketchup producer "Chumak"

Ukrainian investment bank Dragon Capital and Swedish foundation East Capital Bering Ukraine Fund jointly purchased 70% of shares of "Chumak" company from Hans Rausing, Agrobel.By informs.

No financial figures of the deal have been released.

"Chumak" is one of the largest producers of ketchup, mayonnaise, sauces, and macaroni in Ukraine. The company was founded in 1996 by two Swedish-born entrepreneurs, Carl Sturen and Johan Boden.

The production facilities of "Chumak" company are located in Khersonskaya region.
