"Kvity-Service" increased the production of champignon substrate 1.5 times
LLC "Kvity-Service", one of the largest producers of the substrate for champignons (compost) in Ukraine, has increased 1.5 times the capacities for compost production, from 1,100 to 1,800 tons per month.
"We have been working on the new capacities since February, so that the sales volumes of our product significantly increased", Maxim Kuznetsov, the President of "Kvity Service" company said.
According to the data provided by the "Kvity Service" specialists, at the present moment the deficit is observed on the market of compost for champignon production. "This fact confirms the right decision to increase the company's production capacities. Having increased the production volumes significantly, we do not observe any problems with sales", Severyan Bukin, Deputy Director on Economic and Marketing Issues of "Kvity Service" commented.
The company evaluated that in 2007 the share of "Kvity Service" in the sales of mushroom substrate amounted to 26% of the total sales of this product in Ukraine. The company plans to reach 35% in 2008.
The increased production of compost let the company significantly increase the own champignon production too. "We have already finished the construction of the premises designed for the increased volumes of the grown mushrooms. The mounting works are in progress, we will consolidate our position in champignon market by late May. This was the plan, and it comes true", M. Kuznetsov added.
According to his forecasts, in 2008 "Kvity-Service" will increase up to 5% the share on the national champignon market. In particular, the company's share in the sales of champignons on Kyiv market will increase up to 12% (the share was 7% in 2007).
LLC "Kvity-Service" (Kyiv) belongs to three largest producers of champignon substrate (compost) in Ukraine and is the largest players of the national champignon market.
The production capacities of "Kvity-Service" are located in Brovarskoy district of Kyivskaya region: the mushroom farm is in village Dmitrovo, the compost production facility is in village Krasilovka.
