"ATB" signed the contract for the supplies of Spanish canned products under Private Label

The press service of "ATB" retail chain informed "Fruit-Inform", in 2008 the chain plans to extend the assortment of the products under Private Label up to 250 trade items, and by the end of 2009 to introduce Private Labels to each trade group presented in the stores of this chain.

The assortment of the products under "ATB" Private Labels has increased 50% since the previous year. As of today the Private Label sector is presented by 150 trade items. In particular, they are household chemicals, diary products, cereals, dressings, ice-cream, canned sweet corn and green pea, imitation crabmeat, fish preserves and conserves, dumplings, beverages, sparkling water and macaroni. Irina Polisnichenko, the Marketing Director of LLC "ATB-Market" informed about the company's plans for 2008 to extend the Private Label assortment up to 250 trade items.

There is a plan to add new Private Labels to the company's portfolio in 2008. In particular, the sales of confectionary and meat products will be initiated. All confectionary products will be represented under "Sladko" trademark; meat delicatessens - under "Sytny Ryad" TM. In the coming months the company plans to offer the broad assortment of snack group products under Private Labels (fish snacks, nuts, sunflower seeds, pistachio, etc). Tea, juice-containing drinks, flour, mayonnaise, beer and alcohol under Private Labels will enter the shelves of "ATB" chain this season.

"Snack Export" will produce snack group products. The company signed the contract with the recognized Spanish producer on the supplies of canned fruits and vegetables; China will supply canned mushrooms, Thailand will deliver canned pineapples.

As of today, according to the company's data, Private Label share amounts to 2% in the "ATB" sales; the company plans to increase this benchmark up till 7% till the end of 2008.

"ATB-Market" is the retail company of Ukraine with the largest number of stores in the chain; as of today, there are 230 stores in 69 cities of Ukraine.
