Oyster mushroom production remains one of the most perspective businesses of the mushroom industry of Ukraine

The consumption of oyster mushroom exceeds almost twofold the actual production of this product in Ukraine. This information was provided to the mushroom business specialists by Alexander Khrenov, General Director of "Moscow mushroom production school" during the six international seminar, organized by LLC "Biotechnology" for oyster mushroom producers. According to the expert's data, Ukraine grows just 600 grams of oyster mushroom per capita; at the same time, the actual consumption is 1.1 kg per capita, "Fruit-Inform" says. So, if we take into account the mentioned data, oyster mushroom production remains one of the most perspective businesses in Ukraine.
