70-80 percent profits expected in grain production - Ukraine's agriculture minister
According to Ukraine's Minister of Agrarian Policy Serhiy Ryzhuk, profitableness of grain production in Ukraine this year is expected at 70 to 80 percent, and in southern regions of the country - 140 to 150 percent.
"Prices this year have shaped in such a way that average profitability of grain production is expected at 70 to 80 percent on average and 140 to 150 percent in southern regions," he told reporters on November 12. "Grain is a lucrative business," he added.
