Russia: grain purchase interventions results as of Nov 19
In the course of exchange tenders within the framework of ongoing state grain purchasing interventions in Russia, as of November 19, 2002 the state purchased 24,500 tonnes of milling wheat Class 3 out of 38,600 tonnes, put up for tender, and 33,000 tonnes of wheat Class 4 out of 38,700 tonnes, put up for tender, Russian Agriculture Ministry's Agency for Food Market Regulation has informed. Totally, 57,500 tonnes of grain were bought.
Over the five trading days since November 13 till November 19 the state bought into intervention fund 295,100 tonnes of milling wheat Class 3 and 286,900 tonnes of milling wheat Class 4. Total amount of the purchased wheat was 582,000 tonnes, for the total value of 1.129 billion roubles, out of 6 billion rouble credit, provided by the Savings Bank of Russian Federation.
According to Federal Agency's information as of November 19, state purchases of grain into intervention fund are being continued.
